Gosh so lame having people post links to my subwire profile page on facebook.

Recently some people in my class decided they had nothing else better to do so they decided to stalk me on the internet and post links on facebook to my subwire profile page. Gosh don't these people have anything better to do.... than to go and read other people's blogs..... jeez seriously it's annoying and they think it's perfectly alright to do things like that and they're supposed to be your friends. Some friends they say to be..... sigh oh well haven't posted any journal entry so far this year so this should be the first one in several months!

Hahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahaha i'm having such a good laugh these days. Exams are over for the year. Hoping my results will be good. Playing Yellow version [ Pokemon ] ahhhhh good memories!!! As i write this blog brushing my teeth, listening to Kono te wo nobaseba by Garnet Crow and reading the Pokemon Adventures manga on my macbook all at the same time, i decided to let you guys know that from the 8th December until the 4th January I'll be away travelling in India as i was one of the very few chosen for the first ever school immersion tour of India. We'll be doing charity work in various parts of India that we're travelling like working in Mother Theresa's home for the dying in Calcutta.
We'll be visiting Calcutta, Jaipur, Varanasi, Dehli, Mumbai, Goa and much more! Gosh so exciting!!! After the trip on the 9th January for 2 weeks my friend and i who are the top two students in our year,in terms of academic achievement, were chosen to go to the Rotary Science and Technology Forum that's being held at the university of Auckland. Something to be looking forward to! We'll be learning about Genetic engineering and so much more! And almost a week later i'll be back at school. It's not much of a holiday but i hope i can get through this " journey of a lifetime " before i go back to school next year and confront my ultimate destiny: To become dux of the school. Catch ya guys and girls later, Hikaru

Have any of you guys seen this before? The OVA series and the Movie. I know it may be rated as a mediocre anime by many, but after watching it again several times I've come to enjoy this anime even more! Haha the fact that it's set in 2092 seems cool! Can't wait till I turn 100! lol I like many of the songs in this anime like Mou Ichido Love you and Yakusoku. It's strange but whenever i listen to the latter song it helps me to relax and become calm especially when I get stressed out or get anxious. It really must be the soothing heart-warming melody that truly nourishes the soul as the famous romantic poet William Wordsworth would say. Well anyway enough babbling, was it a popular anime in the US and elsewhere? I know US Renditions or some company like that is the licensing company for it.... Haha it's amusing that the final episode of the OVA series was aired 3 days after i was born!
PS There isn't a page dedicated to this anime on TSW.
Well exams are over, now i have to get ready for my trip to India in December for a month with a group of friends as a part of a school tour! We're looking forward to exposing ourselves to a exotic culture and also doing some charity work!
It's my birthday! Woohoo!

Samurai X, Macross and Gundam are the ones i'm focussing on! Haha i think i'll be getting another gunpla kit for my birthday!!! Though haven't even been able to eat a cake or get any presents yet....
A newly found hobby.... Gundam model making and collecting!
By

on 10/15/2009
From an early age i was heavily interested in Gundams. Yet, i never really got any Gundam toy when i was a kiddie so that's why when my dad went to korea on a business trip, i asked him to get me a Gunpla model. I was so excited when he got me one of my favorites.... Wing Zero Endless Waltz Version. It's Master Grade and 1/100 scale! Right now I am 3/4 through building it. I am gonna paint it later.... don't know when.... years later probably... i still need to make the legs and the wings.... it's been a tricky especially for a newbie... but hey it's been fun. After completing Wing Zero, i'm thinking about getting Gundam Dynames [NG 1/100] from Gundam 00 and RX-78-2 Gundam [MG 1/100] first before getting GP01FB Gundam from Stardust Memory[MG 1/100], Sword Impulse Gundam[MG 1/100] from Gundam Seed and 0 Gundam from Gundam 00[High Grade 1/144]. I'm planning to get 5 more Gundams stated above before i start to collect other random non Gundam mobile suits such as the Tallgeese....

My Final End of year School Exams are just a week away.....
By
Ryooster
on 9/10/2009
I was looking ahead at the beginning of the year to the school exams at the end of the year and I never would have thought time would have passed by so quickly.... Well my exams start from next week. I have AS English followed by A Level Mathematics, AS Chemistry, AS French and AS Biology. My biggest concerns are with the AS English, AS Chemistry and slightly for the Maths. I'm not looking just to pass this important end of year exam, I wanna get in the 90s! I've studied hard until now and I'm persisting. But for some reason I seem to be panicking. Guys and girls out there lend me your sixth sense and pray/wish me luck i wanna do well! If I am lucky i can come 1st or 2nd in one of the most prestigious schools in my country which i want to do not to feel just a sense of achievement but for the sake of anime and my love for anime! Wordsworth the great poet of the 19th century would have said after hearing this "Anime is the anchor of my purest thoughts, the Nurse, the guide and the guardian of my heart and soul of all my moral being."
PS I watched Macross ll Lovers Again today! Hahaha it was an anime series released around the time i was born 1992~! An awesome anime! I just love the ending song "Yakusoku" which means promise. It evokes a sense of reminiscence from the depths of my heart. Well catch ya all later! Ginta xxx I'm considering to offer and screen these series at the Anime Club at school when I become anime club leader. The audience is fool of Narutards and noobs who never seen any other proper anime. These 20 series are what I'm intending to show to a 13 to 17 year old audience. What do you guys think?
1. Macross Frontier 2. Gurren Lagaan 3. Valkyria Chronicles 4. Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X 5. Gundam Wing/ Endless Waltz 6. Chaos Head 7. Minami-Ke 8. Tayutama 9. Hyakko 10. Excel Saga 11. Flame of Recca 12. MAR : Marchen Awakens Romance 13. Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory 14. Sengoku Basara 15. SDF Macross : Do you remember Love ? 1984 16. Garei Zero 17. K-On ! 18. Onegai Twins 19. Girls Bravo ! 20. Negima
Have you guys seen this anime movie? It is truly a masterpiece. I loved it. Made even before i was born.
I love it cos the characters are around my age and born in the same year as me. Ichijyo Hikaru the ace pilot of 16 was born on 4th November 1992 and i was born on 18th November 1992. Actually i was born 2 weeks late according to my parents so he is pretty much an anime character who is the same age as me. Plus it's interesting how the first Macross leaves earth on 2009. It's 2009 already so off i go on SDF Macross 1 off to the ends of the galaxy with Lynn Minmay [ Born 10th October 1993]. I love this anime don't you guys? I would say it is one of the best 80s anime i've seen! I love Angel's Paints! I'm listening to it now! So cool!
Anime that I'm actually studying in philosophical depth for the English Literature Scholarship Exam at the end of the year
By
Ryooster
on 7/31/2009
In New Zealand here where i live students aged 16 to 18 do the national scholarship exam if they're elite students who can be classed in the top 1% of the country. Obviously my english teacher and my school backs me to do this exam at the end of the year. Yeah i've studied a whole variety of different texts from William Wordsworth's most famous poems like The Daffodils, Julius Caeasar and Macbeth by William Shakespeare, The Crucible by Arthur Miller and Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre etc.... and i will study a bit more and you can actually refer to movies and other media so long as it has philosophical meanings and of course what have i chose to do...
ANIME! Yes Anime! I'm starting to watch the Samurai X OVA and Gundam 00 series several times over again till i've mastered them completely so that i can acquire deep philosophical meanings from such intense yet a rich plot from which i can manipulate the material.
Samurai X is about a spiritual journey towards the enlightenment of fighting to find one's true voice as a honourable warrior who will fight for pure ideals and not for earthly desires and the quest to seek atonement for the sins from inexorable violence which affects all the different aspects of our life both physically, psychologically and spiritually. Gundam 00 is about finding one's identity through Trans-human innovation which is by isolating oneself from the penal confines of time and the restraints of religion, law, politics and race one can in the bliss of fighting alone in solitude can "see into the life of things" and celebrate the "sublime" as Wordsworth would say when one discovers that people don't live to fight wars but fight to live as Setsuna F Seiei would say " I fight to live.... This is my fight!" and undergo innovation where one becomes one with one's Gundam. For Wordsworth nature is his spiritual guide but for me Michael Ryoo Anime is " the anchor of my purest thoughts, the nurse, the guide, the guardian of my heart and soul, of all my moral being" And it is through anime that i "can see into the life of things" with the inward eye and hear the voice of our existence with the inward ear. This is just a reflection of a thought that i had today maybe i might be able to recollect emotions from this initial experience and at a later moment in time in a state of tranquility i will be able to transmute the "half extinguished" thoughts from this experience and elevate them to a level of ethereal purity where i am able to celebrate the sublime undergo innovation and fulfil the atonement for carnal desires and be in union with anime. ありがとう皆。
I'm interested in starting some Gundam modelling.....

on 7/26/2009
Hmm yeah although i've seen a fair bit of Gundam since my childhood and loved it to bits. Especially Gundam Wing from 1995 i never actually bought any action figures cos they weren't available in New Zealand where i've for pretty much all my life back then. Hmm now they seem to be readily and widely available in New Zealand but the Gundams i can buy are only from Gundam Wing/ Gundam Seed. Destiny/ Gundam 00 So i was wondering if i should start buying and the first choice i considered was to buy Gundam Exia. Does it look cool and is it easy to paint? It's not that expensive it costs about $NZ 70 so that's about $ US 40. Hmm i can't get Gundams like Wing Gundam and the other Gundams from Wing cos it's not that widely known in NZ. However i can get Gundams like Destiny/ Freedom/Strike/Impulse and others oh and i am not really into the 00 series gundams. Don't satisfy my desires except Exia. Wing Zero is like the only Gundam from Gundam Wing i can get. The Epyon is hard to get my hands on and so is the Deathscythe Hell, Heavyarms custom, Sandrock custom or Altron and i don't wanna start getting all of them.
If i were to choose, hmmm Exia, Wing Gundam/ Wing Zero, Destiny and the Tallgeese would be my top choices. It would be great if they did offer the Epyon but meh... not available over here....
Well hope i have lots of replies from Gundam modelling experts!
Hmmm a reason why i decided to move away from Facebook temporarily aka several months.

I've used Facebook for just over a year now. Maybe exactly a year actually. I made one on May last year 2008. At first it was great with not as many people as there are on it now. I had only 50 something friends. Most of them whom i knew. Then around the end of last year all these jerks started coming in and giving me a hard time ever since. They gossip and taunt me for anything i do on facebook whether it be adding fellow anime fans or uploading funny photos of myself becoming members of 100s of groups or anything. And also i've met a lot of jerks and bitches on the social networking site. Recently one of them and her fellow bitches all attacked me for some trivial thing. That girl had posted on someone else's status update: I think my mum is on crack Naturally i being a curious person would politely ask her: " Are you just joking or is your mum really on crack?"I included the key phrase: NO OFFENCE TAKEN. 5 minutes later i just get swarmed with insults with all these bitches ganging up on me. I've had the same thing with guys. It's all these scum of society these days who just come to facebook and ruin it for people like me. I think it's probably just me but i'm sure all over the place on the internet the same thing happens. But anyway i have just had it with all these petty inferior annoying puny puerile pathetic shit i come across almost daily on facebook. That's why i've decided to leave and come back when my end of year external exams are over. In the meantime i might just hang around here with you guys and girls who are always caring and nice and friendly whenever it comes to anime. I feel lucky to be with such good friends as you! Meanwhile i will watch anime and reflect on how absurd some people have become over the years after watching too much "shounen deficient" anime.

Swine flu! Hahaha i feel like going around telling it's one big conspiracy theory but it's better getting it now than later cos u would have built up an immunity against the virus because you will have memory cells in your blood which makes it easier to produce antibodies rapidly and creates a more stronger secondary immune response.Gosh people who get so hung up on swine flu haven't studied enough Biology. Get real!

MAR! Do you guys find it boring?!
By
Ryooster
on 7/9/2009
I love MAR. But a lot of people don't seem to like it. I wanted to ask why? Yeah it seems like a typical shonen anime but again you can't compare it to Naruto and Bleach and One Piece cos MAR is different yet again. It has a hidden deeper profound philosophical texture to it than meets the eye. I'm not joking. Hmm it's getting really good. Just reached episode 91 and things are spicing up only 12 more eps to go so start watching or pick it up again those who quit watching. It's something worth not missing...
Which are your favourite Gundams from Gundam Wing?
By
Ryooster
on 7/9/2009
My Favourite Gundams from Gundam Wing are: Wing Zero Epyon
Hmmm my favorite non gundam mobile suit would have to be the Tallgeese!
Rurouni Kenshin one of my favourite animes of all time!
By
Ryooster
on 7/9/2009
Do any of you guys remember Rurouni Kenshin from years back in the good old 1990s! Hahahahaha i just loved anime back then cos it was bloody, to the point, raw and rich. I love Himura Kenshin of course...with his sakabato but do u guys and girls think Kaoru would make a really good wife? She seems a bit bitchy hahaha! Yet they end up having Kenji! Ahh the joys of love and sex.........!!!!!!!!
Hahahahahaha lately i'm addicted to Gundam 00.

on 7/5/2009
I've just finished my mid-year exams and i was going through my external hard drive and came across Gundam 00 season 2 that i hadn't watched. I only had 15 episodes of it so i got down and finished the episodes i had in 3 days along with more anime.I wanna watch the other 10 episodes soon when i get them off my friend. Gundam is just good as it was 10 years ago. The drama of the whole anime series is impecable. I can't complain for it being unsatisfactory. I hope another Gundam series comes out soon. I wanna start collecting Gundam models. But i wanna only collect models from Gundam Wing. The Wing Zero and the Epyon being the two most wanted models of my desire.
Hmm there is also other anime that i'm watching: Tayutama Minami-ke Sengoku Basara To aru majutsu no Index K-On! Valkyria Chronicles Kodomo no Jikan Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X Asura Crying There is also several more series i'd like to add: Macross Frontier Chaos Head Rosario+Vampire
Do any of you guys out there know which of these series may appeal to male audiences aged 13 to 15? You see i am the anime club leader at school next year and i have to come up with at least about 5 really good anime series to show to some boys who only know cruddy anime like Naruto and Bleach. Not cruddy should i say but just stereotypical and mainstream.

What's up guys. Long time since i posted a journal entry. Well it seems that this year and the next is gonna be the toughest of my years at school. But still I am managing well with life. Keeping it real unlike idiots out there who pretend they have such a cool life when they are in fact old sloppy losers who pretend to be someone totally out of this world! That's stupid.
Hmm I'm single at the moment and I'm proud of it. Many of my friends are in relationships and it always ends up screwed and all emo! That's why i prefer to be on my own at the moment. But hey I'm always open for a chat if anyone's interested! Well smell ya guys later. I've got some anime to watch and download. Plus I got to study for my first term exam. And i got debating!

By

on 1/12/2009
Don't u love Kaze to Rainbow it's the Opening song for Marchen Awakens Romance aka MAR! The best MAR song in the world hahahahahaha lol! I love the lyrics and yeah I sing it like everyday to release emotions of grief and frustration when stupid idiots on the internet tell me that the stuff [anime] I watch is stupid. Well let me tell them the stuff I watch has a hidden philosophical motive unlike their stupid meaningless babble they constantly watch and say is way better than what I watch. Those people have a lot to learn and the full version of Kaze to Rainbow tells me that. Ginta.

Manga vs Manwha
By
Ryooster
on 11/26/2008
It has also amused me to see Japanese and Koreans fighting over who is the better anime/manga country! Personally I prefer Japanese manga over Korean manwha cos u know Japanese manga has more tradition than korean manwha.Yeah and the storyline and characters are more appealing! Plus usually most of the time Korean manwha is rather overly politically correct and does not have as much"explicit" content as manga does. No wonder people like manga more than manwha. Yeah the Japanese anime series are largely aided by Korean manwha artists to complete part of their animation projects but I still find no fiery passion and heart in Korean anime. It's all ordinary plain old boring stuff. And I will say this even though I am part Korean.
I am annoyed lately by sensitive reactions of some people
By
Ryooster
on 11/24/2008
Well it's already tough for me just to get through the hardships of daily life like an automaton but recently I had a personal incident which frustrated me and left me rather annoyed and even worse close to the point where I cannot control myself........ Well anyways I forgive the people who annoyed me and left a scar on my heart.Cos u know it's part of my instincts to do so. I therefore am looking to build strong "platonic" relationships with those who are open minded and truthful. Those who do not lie about who they are really like. I mean what's wrong about giving info about ur self. It's not like I'm going to harm or harass you. Some people these days are a bit too paranoid.Yeah a lot of sensitive and politically correct people are gonna tell me I'm wrong well let me tell them they're not always right.
I am a truthful and straightforward person I hope all of you who choose to befriend me are like that.Well I've let my fire of "passion"[rage and confusion] burn and released all those cathartic emotions which embraces me.
Thanks all for reading. And guys a final word I believe that I have discovered what I have been frantically been searching for Kaze To Rainbow[Wind and Rainbow]. Oh how I adore songs by Garnet Crow! lol!
