About Me

Hi i'm 17 turning 18 soon. In my last year of High school. Love History! Love my anime, love to dance and sing especially to Michael Jackson music

Journal

Recently some people in my class decided they had nothing else better to do so they decided to stalk me on the internet and post links on facebook to my subwire profile page. Gosh don't these people have anything better to do.... than to go and read other people's blogs..... jeez seriously it's annoying and they think it's perfectly alright to do things like that and they're supposed to be your friends. Some friends they say to be..... sigh oh well haven't posted any journal entry so far this year so this should be the first one in several months!

Second. and this is the difficult part: not necessarily the phrases have subject. Since the verbs are flexionated and not like in the english (non-variable), you can know the subject without pronouns or names. How function: verb - to be - in portuguese (present) Eu sou, Tu és, Ele é, Nós somos, Vós sois, Eles são. Eu sou Kyu (I am Kyu), Tu és Ryooster (You are Ryooster), Ele é Eaglestorm (He is Eaglestorm), Nós somos fans da Crazyanimegyrl (We are fans of Crazyanimegyrl), Vós (its not used - it's considered archaic - only learned for exams. Read/write/talk uses the 3rd plural form with the pronoun "Vocês"(plural) - the form Tu is not used too, use Você"(single)), Eles são fans da Shigaihime (They are Shigaihime's fans). If you pay atention, you can distinguish who is the subject without the noun. So: Sou fan da Crazyanimegyrl. São fans da Shigaihime. ^^v

No problems! First: pronouns - I=Eu, You=Tu, He=Ele,She=Ela, We=Nós,You=Vós, They= eles. You can think this is strange: where is the "it"? There are no neutral pronoun at portuguese, since all substantives (well, almost all) have gender. So, the chair, the door, the window, the pen - they are all females. The book, the car, the computer, the sky, the sea - they are all males.
