One Piece focuses on a ragtag crew of pirates called Straw Hat Pirates led by Captain Monkey D. Luffy. Luffy's greatest ambition is to obtain the world's ultimate treasure, One Piece, and become Pirate King.

Greatness, glory, gold. A pirate named Gold Roger, also known as the Pirate King, achieved all this. He was executed by the World Government but before he died he revealed his last word about the legendary treasure named One Piece which was hidden in the Grand Line. Twenty-two years after his death, a pirate named Monkey D. Luffy appeared, with only one goal: to become the next "Pirate King" and find the treasure "One Piece". Thus starts the never ending adventure....

One Piece looks like its taking a little break from the main story and heading for a filler arc (preview said so - a new special historical arc) to let the Manga get farther ahead. Let's see if this little side arc can entertain us while we wait.
