Adaptation of NisiOisin’s supernatural comedy light novel series.

The short stories in the two volumes of Bakemonogatari deal with a high school boy named Koyomi Araragi and strange students he encounters. (”Bakemonogatari” is a wordplay on the Japanese term bakemono for supernatural creatures and the term monogatari for stories.) One student, a girl named Hitagi Senjougahara, almost literally falls into his lap, only to have him discover she has no weight. (ANN)

Great show, and the little bit of animation they use is well done, the art style is fascinating, but like many of their shows, 90% of the show is static photos with voice backgrounds. Really cheap and lazy animation, because most of it isn't actual animation at all, technically speaking. Still really like the show and it's pacing though, just wish they weren't so damn cheap.
